2. Accounts

To manage a business listing or subscribe to a paid tier, you need to create an account. When you do:

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

3. Business Listings

Adding a listing

Business listings may be added to the directory by us or by business owners/authorised representatives. If you add a listing, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to list that business

Claiming a listing

If your business is already listed, you can claim it to take control of the listing. The claiming process involves verifying that you are the owner or an authorised representative of the business. We may ask for verification such as:

  • Confirmation via a phone number or email address associated with the business
  • Proof of business ownership or authority to act on behalf of the business

We reserve the right to approve or reject any claim at our discretion.

Listing content standards

All business listings must comply with the following rules. Listings must not:

  • Contain false, misleading, or deceptive information
  • Promote illegal activities or services
  • Include offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory content
  • Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Contain spam, excessive keywords, or irrelevant content

4. Paid Subscriptions

Featured and Premium listings are available as monthly subscriptions. By subscribing:

  • You agree to pay the applicable monthly fee
  • Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel it
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal

5. Acceptable Use

Business details are provided by third parties and business owners, and we are not responsible for errors or outdated information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

  • We provide this website and its services on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the site
  • We are not liable for any loss resulting from reliance on information in business listings
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or our services is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.

9. Termination

If we terminate your account for a breach of these terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any subscription fees already paid, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

10. Disputes

If you have a dispute with us, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute, it will be governed by the laws of South Australia, and both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
